Injustice: It’s not another MK v DC Universe: For one thing, it has Batman (OXCGN)

OXCGN:

"I had a completely open mind, ready for whatever they had to throw at me.

I spent the next 20-30 minute sitting with no prior knowledge about this game apart from the fact that it’s set in the DC Universe and it’s the second DC fighting game developed by Netherrealm Studios.

Rest assured folks Injustice is NOT another Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe." (E3, Injustice: Gods Among Us, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)

This looks like a LOT of fun. Much more along my interest than Smash Bros Mario type fighting.

I'm getting this for WiiU
PS All Stars for Vita
and Super Smash Bros. Next for 3DS/WiiU
Batman and green LAntern are my favorite DC heroes.
Batman's 2 on my list after Spider-Man

Personally I'll probably skip. MK9 wasn't a very good fighting game. It had a good story and visuals and stuff, all the flare but no substance. The gameplay is very simple compared to other 2D fighters and I expect this to be the same.

I love that each character has specific animations and powers. It would have sucked if they did pretty much the same thing all the time in fights.
ChronoJoe  +   712d ago
It's kind of expected that at least most characters in fighting games have their own unique moves / properties. Would be very silly if they were all the same.

Some can look pretty similar. These guys have special powers like web, superspeed or batgadgets which should be cool.

I wish NetherRealm could had focused on another Shaolin Monks game instead of this DC stuff no one asked for.
vallencer  +   712d ago
I don't remember seeing people asking for a Shaolin Monks game either though. And personally I would much rather have this.

I think it is better for them to leave MK for now.

It looks really good and i can't wait for it.

But MK vs DCU also has batman
ChronoJoe  +   712d ago
Correct, and that game was terrible.

This does look better than that though. But we'll have to wait and see by just how much.

I like that they're changing things up a bit from the standard fighting game formula...it wouldn't really suit the subject matter if they just made it like Street Fighter.
Color me interested... :D

Am I the only one who sees how stiff this game looks??? Just like all the MK tittles. I'm going to get it but I just wish they made their games fluid. Its only fluid animated when its auto animated like a super move or grab. Thats my only problem with the. I mean I can ignore it but still.
smashcrashbash  +   712d ago
I said that a while back in another article and got tons of disagrees for saying it. It does look stiff. They could have at least upped their game a little bit more and made the characters move more naturally.

Yeah I said that in another article too. Well at least I'm not the only one going crazy lol. I wish who ever disagreed with me would explain how it does look fluid. Lol.
