I think they were gonna have an adaption with Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool but idk cause i heard Ryan was doing Highlander now.

Reynolds was linked to it because he played him in the Wolverine movie but that was a few years ago.

I think the movie has (unfortunately) been shelved.

Most people who like Deadpool read comics. You can tell when someone has actually read the comics because otherwise they think that Deadpool is like he was is X-Men Origins. I love Deadpool comics though and he's funny as shit in X-Force.

So what if people have never heard of him? I for one knew of him, but never read any Deadpool. I have always been more of a graphic novel reader instead of superhero stuff. I am not knocking it (that would be hypocritical). But I'll tell you what. After seeing the trailer for the game, and seeing how funny he is, I looked up some stiff on youtube. I was sold, and just today picked up Deadpool: origin comic, and Deadpool Merc with a mouth (the animation really spoke to me). I am looking forward to enjoying them. Even though I have only just discovered it. It is because of people like me who are new to the bandwagon, that there will be even more Deadpool stuff for us all to read. Stop being so elitist.

It's good that the game is drawing in more fans. You should try out the ongoing series,too, see if you like it. And he's really funny in Uncanny X-Force, but that's got more people in it, so it might not be your thing.

They haven't made any because they're the publisher, not the developer. High Moon made War for Cybertron, and for that, they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Activision is just publishing the game, so hopefully High Moon Studios will be able to develop a good game. Their track record is pretty decent so far, so I think there's hope.

I've never read any Deadpool comics and I'm not familiar with the character. Just don't get hyped up and keep your mind open to it because if you get yourself worked up you'll inevitably be let down.

I can't remember the last game I was REALLY hyped for that met my expectations.

the Comedy has to be on point

the comic just came back with a better team writing for it..

right before it went away it was getting pretty bad...but they revitalized the humor/jokes/character..

that being said..the trailer didn't give me ANY hope =\

but for a movie they need some fresh blood...new talent..

altho i can see that kid that played Kick Ass in the role..

get a little beefier...and he's got the sarcastic tone/dumbed down wit..

the thing with deadpool is..it looks like chaos..and like he has no idea what he's doing AT ALL...but there's a method to his madness ..

I think Hollywood would need to find a no-name actor to play him. That will establish Deadpool as a standalone. But they have to get it just right.
