There has been a lot of talk on Watch Dogs, Ubisoft’s latest IP with some claiming it to have saved one of the worst E3 conventions in years but can it compete with the heavyweight from Rockstar?

Watch Dogs isn't made by Square Enix (if "SE" meant it) but Ubisoft. You probably got it wrong with Sleeping Dogs which is indeed published by Square. But anyway, they're only publishing it and the game was formerly part of the True Crime IP which has been a GTA-stlye open world series for quite a while.
I'm geussing this author has played through both games, reviewed them and gone back for more to make this choice. Cmon, I understand you want traffic, but write something relevant..

No cause i've said it before but GTA is in a league of its own also Watch Dogs looks to be in a league of it's own too so i don't see why you should compare em really cause they are different, just same genre.
That's like that comparison between Infamous and Prototype, both different games just same superhero open world setting.
Also how would we know if one is better than another if they haven't even released yet or barely have any info?
People are just stupid. There so damn dumb, they seem to think because something has an open world....its a GTA clone. Both games have open worlds....yes....thats about it. Why one would even compare them is quite stupid. Its like me comparing NFS Underground to GT4 cause they are both games with cars yet I ignore that they are different genres. Too funny.
lol it's better than any gta that has come out recently, and the newest ones aren't even better then the ps2 games which in my opinion were the best. besides gta isn't even relevant anymore.

I would personally choose gta v, judging from the trailer, R* experience and the fact that the world looks awesome. Watch Dogs is set in the city however, and I have grown a bit tired of city open worlds. Might still buy watch dogs though
Of course it's better. You can judge that looking at the 9-minute gameplay footage of WatchDogs and the cinematic trailer for GTA V, obviously WatchDogs win.

Seriously? how the hell can people compare two unreleased games? Based on two videos alone? That's why no one would accept that gaming is for mature audience, because these damn morons keep getting into childish arguments.
Of course its going to be better in terms of animations and what you can do. They are likely going to be able to use more space then what GTAIV or GTAV will be using. My guess would be Bluray.
By default, they will have mroe space. But if we mean the current gen version, then i think they are apples and oranges.
Very similar in that there open world, but thats about it.
Taking what i know and my experiences with GTA i think Watch Dogs will kill GTA the plot, the art style and the freshness of Watch Dogs damn i can't wait... it's just my opinion i never was a big fan of GTA anyway...
