Apocalyptic Soapbox: The Curious Case of Sequel-Itis

From Pixel Apocalypse...

"We’ve complained about sequels here at Pixel Apocalypse. We’ve complained a lot. And for good reason; it’s pretty much all we see these days. E3 2012 was pretty much irrelevant as far as announcements went and we only got excited because of the showing of a few new IPs – some of which we already knew about! Remember the landscape last fall? Every blockbuster seemed to have a “3” at the end of its title and this year isn’t looking much different." (Culture, E3)
