This, i'm excited for. I've been told it's more value than the 670.

Same performance at a 100$ less, Does well on 1080P res. What else you need?

Basically the most perfect mid-range card one can buy.

It sounds like a great card. I've been hearing rumors for weeks, but it really does seem that it is just around the corner now. I guess we will just have to wait and see how it performs compared to the 670.

I will probably be getting this card even though it won't be a big upgrade from my current card.

The GTX 660 ti is expected to compete with the HD 7870 and maybe even match (or surpass) the HD 7950...so, yes, it will be more powerful than the HD 7850. But the HD 7850 is a great card. It is an awesome card for overclocking and pumps out perfectly smooth 60fps on the vast majority of games at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Only the most demanding games make it drop below that performance level.

Is there any significant reason to upgrade this from a 560TI if you're strapped on paying more? srs question

I think that was just a new driver feature, I can enable it on my 570's.

Several reasons.

1- Performance equivalent/better than the GTX 580.

2- 2GB memory allows for smooth gameplay, 1GB on your 560Ti causes stuttering at 1080P in most games e.g BF3, Arkham City, Even Skyrim with mods etc.

3- Lower Power consumption/temps. 150W compared to 225 on 560Ti.

4- Better at overclocking, No doubt 560Ti is a beast since at overclocking due to refined GF-104 core (GF114) but this ain't a low boy either.

Im still happy with my dual 570's. Im trying to hold onto them until the 700 series arrive.

Yeah good luck coking egg's on that. This card is expensive and there are more cheap ones that do the job.
