CheatCC writes - At E3 this year, I got a chance to sit down with a playable demo for Lost Planet 3. Perhaps better titled Lost Planet Zero, Lost Planet 3 is a reboot of sorts. It takes place before the events of Lost Planets 1 and 2, before anyone really knows that there are horrible alien beasts out to eat our faces in the frozen wastelands of EDEN III. It spins a tale of lonely miners lost on a planet that will surely kill them, simple human beings who took an unknowingly dangerous contract just to feed their families. It connects you to the characters and the setting far better than Lost Planet 1 or 2 did, and for that the game is better off.
