Majora’s Mask: The Essence of the Hero

GenGAME writes: "The delicate balance between saving the world and making the people happy is at the very heart of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. No other game in the franchise has successfully replicated the sense of urgency in the hero’s quest to defeat evil, nor the intricacy and sense of investment in helping out the various townspeople with their troubles. Yet these two themes are at the very heart of what it means to be a hero." (3DS, The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Wii)

I really hope Nintendo brings Majora's Mask to the 3ds. Knowing Nintendo, they probably will.

Its been forever since I've played it. I've been wanting to dive back into this title after replaying through Ocarina of Time.

I've played OoT and MM so many times I've lost count. And if they bring it to the 3DS it's just another excuse to play it again. :D

Majora's mask is my third favorite zelda(it would be higher if the save system was fixed) I love the exploration aspect MM,Oot,and Tp are the only games that get that having a travel method doesn't mean you don't need to be on a invisible leash.(out the games that uses vehicles or animals)

Agreed. That save system needs a fix.

My personal favorite of the series.

I actually started replaying the game earlier today.

I would love for them to make another Zelda with the same feel as this one. It was a very unique game within the series.

The last zelda game i played was ocarina of time, never got around to playing the others as i never bought a gamecube or wii... Maybe one day i'll stumble upon either system for 30 bucks or so and pick up those games to see what i was missing. I'm willing to bet that they're better than most of the crop of games that are out today on ANY system.
"majora's mask for 5 bucks you say??" "sold".

I saw a refurbished wii at gamestop for somewhere around seventy dollars.

You could save up your extra money and buy a wii. You can buy the n64 games on the online store.

Also since the wii plays gamecube games you can play every game to date, should you desire to do so.

I was thinking about getting a wii myself. There are a lot of interesting looking wii exclusive *rpgs.

With the $70-80 price point I just may do it soon.

Gamecubes are like 30 bucks. That's actually how I got into Zelda in the first place. I played Link to the Past on my GBA, then tried Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on GCN. Once I played my 4th Zelda, OoT, on the Wii's Virtual Console, Nintendo had me hooked for the distant future.

My favorite part was doing all the side quest and completely ignoring the moon.

"The Moon can wait, who the hell is that kid in the keaton mask!"
