Guild Wars 2 ‘Collector’s Edition’ is a big hit with fans as inventory dwindles

Guild Wars 2 is set to launch on August 28, 2012. With a month left to go before the official release it’s getting harder and harder for fans of the series to grab the official ‘Collector’s Edition’.

The CE (shown on the right) is stocked with a wide-array of goodies including a 10-inch Figurine of Rytlock, a full 112-page Making of Guild Wars 2 book, the Best of Guild Wars 2 Soundtrack CD, an Art Portfolio and Five Art Prints with custom art frame.

The amazon pre-order is the same exact thing as the pre-purchase through the official Guild Wars 2 website, so its not really a special deal. Also, the beta weekends are over, the last one ended Sunday night / Monday morning. And not sure about Amazon, but with the GW2 site, you can download the game in advance so you're not sitting around waiting on installs come release.
