TheScrubDaily list a few games they want to see on the PSN.
I want The Warriors - Fantastic Brawling co-op game. BoF: Dragon Quarters - The only BoF I have never finished. I'd like to beat it!
The 4th game is really good, but it's an acquired taste. I loved it.
i would love to have a domestic release of thunderforce 6. Sucks that sega never brought it out in the US but then again, it could be that the shmup genre wasnt what it is in the US like in JP.
I hope, Dynasty Warriors 3 and Onimusha 3 comes to the PSN !!! These games are the best Hack and Slash-PS2-games!
I'm pretty sure we can make a list of 100+ PS2 games that need to be on PSN.
3,2,1...GO! ;P I would actually like to see it. I would, of course argue for Dragon Quest VIII. And I would think the list must contain games that aren't on the PS3 in any way shape or form.
Give me about a week LOL. Use this for now. http://www.metacritic.com/s... That is if most of them don't turn to HD Collections.
Onimusha Warlords, Samurai's Destiny, Demon Siege, & Dawn Of Dreams Max Payne 2, The Warriors, Bully, GTA III, Vice City, & San Andreas, Red Dead Revolver, Manhunt 1&2
MANHUNT !! I like your style Fox, that's the first one I thought of. Bully & The Warriors would be nice too...and Puzzle Bobble for the wife. =)
I agree, all of rockstar's games on ps3 would be awesome.
You win for Manhunt. And Manhunt 2 without the blur and Move support (I had it for Wii and thought that it was an interesting use of the motion controls)
I want Trapt... Though I'm sure a lot of people don't know what that game is... :p
I never got to play it, though I did play the demo to one of them.. Fun game, I would love to get a chance to play through Trapt. And props to you for remembering such a game!
It was a fantastically devious and enjoyable game. I really wish they'd make one for this gen... It had its flaws, but overall it was a really unique experience and was often rewarding when not overly difficult (in some areas).
One does not simply list "a few games" from PS2 that you would like to see on PS3
You shall not post that tired meme
I hate the meme too but he's right. We're pretty much talking about the most supported dedicated gaming console in history.
Dammit I would KILL to see some of the Dora games on PSN. Oh wait.....SWEET!
Now all we need is a spongebob game on PSN. Oh wait... YES!
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Street Fighter Alpha Anthologies Socom 2 Midnight Club 2 Auto Modelista (sp) The Bouncer Capcom vs SNK 2
Fatal Frame 1, 2, 3 That is all :D
none i sill game on the ps2 n have a bc 80gig 4 the hell of it Socom2 Persona3 Ff12 Gta3 Jak3 Nfshp2 Gt4
Persona 3 FEZ is already there and there is an HD version of Jak 3 (the whole original trilogy actually)
ah ok yeah i guess i haven't looked at any of them. HD jak3? ok thats a little better then. incredible game.
Yes, we need some RPGs in the PS2 classics section. I haven't seen a single one on the store yet (though there may be some on the US store, I wouldn't know). Get some SMT on there (and not just Persona).
theres TONS of ps2 games that should be on ps3 and some that shouldnt like kiddy games(you know which game im talking bout)
San Andreas (instant money maker) Final Fantasy 12
You have good taste.
Hope Killzone get on the PS2 classics, still think it is the best out of the 3 console versions.
Final Fantasy VII - Dirge Of Cerberus, Kingdom Hearts I or II, anything Rockstar, specially the first Manhunt ;)
Samurai western! I loved that freakin game
Soul Reaver 2 Blood Omen 2 Legacy of Kain: Defiance MDK 2 Armageddon Fur Fighter Viggo's Revenge Killzone Kingdom Hearts 1 &2 Just to name a few.
Not just Persona 4....ALL Shin Megami Tensei games that are on the PS2 All .Hack games Fatal Frame 1-3 Kingdom Hearts 1 &2 Clock Tower 3 Rule of Rose that's what I want and I will gladly buy every single one of them
I wanna see clock tower 3 and Persona 4. Unfortunately with the vita version of Persona 4 on the way, I doubt we'll see it....I'm still hoping though.
I don't see why not, there are plenty of people who don't have Vita's and plenty of fans that would buy it regardless. Plus they put up P3 with the psp version out and available for the Vita. That's just my thought though, more money for them but hey it's their choice.
Yes to EVERY game you listed. Rule of Rose is a hidden gem. :)
I'm saying it. Spider-Man 2.
I don't know... I personally like Web of Shadows more. It was more fun, anyway. The story wasn't very good, but we have The Amazing Spider-man for that. I would prefer Ultimate Spider-man. ;)
Spider-Man 2 had the best web swinging mechanic. I liked Ultimate for it's art style and story.
Web of Shadows had the best web slinging. Nobody played it though.
How about we get some awesome PS3 games instead and quit having customers pay again for stuff they already bought before. Getting excited about PS2 games on a PS3 just seem's wrong to me
Some people haven't played these titles. Some people don't have their PS2s anymore, or the disc don't work. Some would like a digital copy. Some people just want to relive the magic. We are still getting plenty of great PS3 games. You don't have to buy them, you know.
Great PS3 games? They are all the same. It's either a FPS or some other crap. I use to be all about consoles but nothing new has really come around. Also for "People who want to relive the magic" then get some Atari games my way. PS2 is way to new to relive for me.
like to see original NFS HP2 redone and CONTRA not on PSN but as physical disc.
criterions HOTPURSUIT was craptastic.
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 Nightshade shinobi so many games come on Sony
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King That is all
Chaos Legion. This was a great game. I'd love to see it on classics. I'd really love a remake actually. Also, Phantom Dust. It was a Xbox exclusive I know, but I would LOVE to see this on PSN.
The Warriors! The Warriors! The Warriors! and also The Warriors! Excellent game all around.
Mercenaries and GTA:SA. Makes me scratch my head with all the shite they have released.
You should see the Australian stores range.....It is so pathetic it's pathetic. Most of the games released thus far are Midas published & possibly developed, so they are the horrible budget titles released when PS2 was dead in the water & PS3 had arrived.
I'm not sure if Europe & Australia share the same store, it would seem logical, but then again logical to me, would be to release the best of the best range of PS2 & PS1 back catalogue.
I have a U.S. account, & there range (whilst also pretty slow moving) at least has the better titles releasing on it.
Fact is, the range of PS1 & PS2 games releasing over PSN is really, really, limited, when the ammount of hits on both gens of playstation has the biggest range of high quality titles accross all genres.
I'm not sure what the hold up is, as to me, it seems illogical not to be hammering out masses of past playstation games & cashing in.
The Midas titles on the Aussie store will fail to sell big time, so why aren't Sony getting the high quality titles out there at a rate of knots?
And does anyone know if Australians log onto the same PSN store as Europe?
Also, why the hell does Sony have so many different stores that are always releasing different content from one to another? They are losing money, as there are plenty of games on the U.S. store that would be snapped up immediately if Australians & Europeans had access to them.
Killer 7 with optional Move controls and 3D FFXII Ring of Red Killzone with optional Move controls and 3D Stella Deus: The Gate of Eternity
scooby doo night of 100 frights
You could pretty much be playing them all, hadn't Sony removed the option to play ps2 games in later builds of the system.
I was pleasantly surprised to see Shadow Hearts 2 on this list since it's a little culty but definitely one of the best RPGs of all time as far as I'm concerned!
I wouldn't mind seeing KH 1&2 Xenosaga 1,2&3 and Wild Arms 4,5&6 come to the PSN I'd re buy ha games.
Sword of Etheria Shadow Heart series Soul Reaver
