Are there really any issues games shouldn't touch?

I wish they would make a game where the Nazi had conquered Europe. Over some time the people began to plot a rebellion and this is where we come in to play the game as part of the rebellion. But then there would be the other campaign mode where you can choose to be the Nazi

They could do a similar one with Japan. Like as though Japan had infact conquered Asia etc.

I imagine they could do these games like SaintsRow/GTA style with 4 player Co op with leveling up system like borderlands?

I don't think I could play a game were you played as a Nazi. Something about that just seems wrong to me.

Maybe it wouldn't be that different than playing say GTA, but I feel like it would kind of cross the line.

Yet you can play games (CoD) where you go into an airport and gun everyone down in the terminal lol. It's a video game. Movies cross waaaay more lines. I have yet to see rape and cannibalism in video games.

I actually haven't played any of the call of duty games in forever so I don't know about the gunning everyone down in an airport, but in my experiance, most of the time in games when your doing something that would be considered "bad" the game usually at least tries to justify it (helping your country, doing what needs done to survive, etc.). However, I can't think of any way to justify any of the Nazi's acts.

I don't know though, maybe, as long as nobody tries to make Nazis "the good guys," it wouldn't be as bad as it initially sounds.

Download Iron Sky lol. After being defeated in WW2 the Nazi's build a secret base on the dark side of the moon and come back to Earth in 2028 to seek revenge. It is as awesome as it sounds :D

I love me some controversial games. If there's some controversy then most likely I'm sold. I got dead island on release.

All subjects should be allowed within gaming just like any other form of entertainment
