If you're interested in recording content directly from your Xbox 360, PS3, or even iPhone or iPad for publishing on YouTube or even to just show off to friends, there are limited universal options that work with all of the above. Elgato has solved that problem and the question of "which device do I buy", as the new Game Capture HD is the only device you'll ever need to purchase (at least for the foreseeable future).
Out of the box, the tiny game capture HD looks tame, but packs a major punch once you get it connected.
