Report - BF3 Premium Members Will Not Have Access to Battlefield 4 Beta

MP1st - Since the official reveal of Battlefield 4 beta access through Medal of Honor: Warfighter first print, EA has confirmed that there will be other ways to access the beta, but it seems being a Premium member isn't one of them.

I agree with you that Premium members should be getting a beta code for BF4 but at the same time we are getting so much DLC for BF3 it's crazy. I think that $49.99 is worth it for the premium if you are a BF fan.

But they should give us the beta. After all, whoever purchased Premium must be a BF fan. Casuals will not spend on it.

Hold the phone... (If I am interpreting you incorrectly then I am sorry) Are you saying getting 800,000 BF3 Premium players into the Beta would be worse than getting XYZ number of players that get access because they bought a different game?

Being very honest, IF this was actually a real Beta then EA and Dice should be trying to get BF3 players into the Beta because they would have the most to add in terms of Beta feedback...NOT some joker who buys Medal of Honor and gets access as a perk.

Clearly this "Beta" is nothing more than what is becoming the norm and that is "Beta" offerings as pre-order / purchase incentives.

Pretty much this, when I heard of a BF4 beta I didn't think for a moment I'd be getting anything for "free." And it wasn't in the promises Premium gave so I see no reason to be pissed.

Oh well, I'm sure it'll go public, and when it does we'll see if it can beat BF3.

I don't play either Call of Duty or Battlefield but that's kind of a stab in the back to there loyal fans who put down extra cash for that subscription price especially if they have Xbox Live which also costs money.

They are announcing that the only way into the early beta is through pre-ordering Medal Of Honor Warfighter. This is a simple marketing tactic, because if you read the article and their quotes, they do not confirm or deny that premium members will not be able to access it. But I will tell you right now premium members will be granted access, but ONLY after they have what they deem 'Appropriate' pre-order numbers for their new Medal of Honor game.

And anyway why should the premium of BF3 game get the access to the BF4 beta. In my opinion this rumor is pointless, why would anyone even expect to get it this way. I wasn't even thinking this way... Premium is like the map packs and nothing more + they would said already if the Premium players will get it.
