Report - BF3 Premium Members Will Not Have Access to Battlefield 4 Beta

MP1st - Since the official reveal of Battlefield 4 beta access through Medal of Honor: Warfighter first print, EA has confirmed that there will be other ways to access the beta, but it seems being a Premium member isn't one of them.

The story is too old to be commented.

Kinda shitty EA... I mean you ask your loyal followers to pony up cash equal to a new game for BF3 Premium and yet you give no future code to BF4 beta and instead I have to buy your shitty Medal of Honor game? Gotta love marketing.

I agree with you that Premium members should be getting a beta code for BF4 but at the same time we are getting so much DLC for BF3 it's crazy. I think that $49.99 is worth it for the premium if you are a BF fan.

But they should give us the beta. After all, whoever purchased Premium must be a BF fan. Casuals will not spend on it.

you can talk anything BUT Medal of Honor .
its not shity game as said
and maybe the beta will be open just like BF3 beta!
We don't know !

it will have open beta. the early access is 48 hrs only. doesnt bother me as servers will be horrid on the innitial opening. ;)

I disagree letting 800,000 people access the beta would be kinda bad
How are you going to get people's opinion?

Dlacy13g1529d ago

Hold the phone... (If I am interpreting you incorrectly then I am sorry) Are you saying getting 800,000 BF3 Premium players into the Beta would be worse than getting XYZ number of players that get access because they bought a different game?

Being very honest, IF this was actually a real Beta then EA and Dice should be trying to get BF3 players into the Beta because they would have the most to add in terms of Beta feedback...NOT some joker who buys Medal of Honor and gets access as a perk.

Clearly this "Beta" is nothing more than what is becoming the norm and that is "Beta" offerings as pre-order / purchase incentives.

I agree with yoyo12121. Besides people bought BF3 Premium Membership and not BF4's.

Its EA can u expect better?

ChocalateDog2031530d ago (Edited 1530d ago )

Pretty much this, when I heard of a BF4 beta I didn't think for a moment I'd be getting anything for "free." And it wasn't in the promises Premium gave so I see no reason to be pissed.

Oh well, I'm sure it'll go public, and when it does we'll see if it can beat BF3.

WeskerChildReborned1530d ago

Wow that just seems kinda messed up even though it wasn't promised for the premium service but it would make it more worth the price even though it already is.

MacUser19861530d ago

That's umm...kind of ridiculous to be honest.

I don't play either Call of Duty or Battlefield but that's kind of a stab in the back to there loyal fans who put down extra cash for that subscription price especially if they have Xbox Live which also costs money.

LOL_WUT1530d ago

Glad I didn't buy premium.

Why?

It is still worth it for the price of the map packs alone.
