Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD’s Scoring System Is Seriously Broken

Geekparty: I woke up this morning to find a message from an anonymous source complaining about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD being hacked. This person claimed that scores of over 5 million points were showing up on the leaderboards, not even a week after launch. This has to be the work of hackers, right?

Well, I think it's actually a problem with the special move grinds/slides accumulating points way too quickly. 9 mil is definitely a stretch. Should have been toned down a bit. Still, I'm not sure they can fix it now, because they'll throw the leaderboards out of whack.

It's an HD Remake/re-release.

If you were expecting anything different from the old THPS, than you're horribly misinformed. All of the pros and cons are ported over. if they were to change the scoring system a lot more people would be complaining.
