I find some of these review scores to be ridiculous. Please explain to me the difference between a 91.8 and a 92. Or a 92 and a 93 for that matter.

Review scores in themselves are more or less meaningless. All they do is take away from what is actually important, the review itself.

I'll agree that I don't see many scores are meaningful, but 91.8 is the title of the website. It's a radio station for anime and geekdom titled 91.8 The Fan. So I think you might not be understanding the point of the numbers.

Also, the writer, Bargain Gamer kinda hated the game so a 91.8 or 92 wouldn't even make much sense considering all the negative points he brought up.

I just saw the headline, and took it as I did. Felt I need to get on a mini rant regarding my hate for such review scores.

That number at the top is definitely not the rating. This guy just whines through the entire "review" about how much he hates it. He even complains about the visual effects in the cut scenes and says he's disgusted that this game was financially successful. The author sounds like he's as miserable as Max.

Oh, well. To each his own I guess. I had a great time in this game. It was the video game equivalent of a fun summer blockbuster action movie, and it's one of the best looking games I've seen so far.

Had MSAA and transparency AA up a bit too high on a couple of these. LOL. Pushing the card pretty hard.
