don't you just hate it when they tell you a review is just a relative opinion? bullshit, it's like you said exactly, many gamers rely almost completely on reviews before spending their dollars.

if a review is an "opinion" i can't rely on and i have to try the game by myself then why do you get paid for?!

I do hate it. I also hate when a good game that is been getting 9-10 across the board and then one website gives it a 2-4 just to be different and get hits. Then when you point it out they tell me it's an opinion. BS
