GynGa, you have to be joking. I like gaming on my consoles in addition to my PC, but your statement is simply not true.
The games I play on my PC look significantly better than my console games. It's dramatic sometimes how much better the PC versions will look.
For example, Tomb Raider Underworld on the 360 and PS3 didn't impress me very much when I played the demos, but it is utterly transformed on the PC. Running in 1080p and 60fps without the screen tearing and with high quality texture filtering and anti-aliasing the game becomes something very beautiful.
On the consoles it is a decent looking game, but on PC it amazingly looks better than Uncharted overall. The upcoming Tomb Raider reboot is only going to push that further.
And that's not even getting in to high end games like The Witcher 2, Crysis 2, Metro 2033, etc.
It doesn't make sense when people compare PC's to consoles. Yes PC's are the best machines out there providing next gen graphics and other capabilities but consoles have their own different and separate place in the market place. If you're a PC gamer, then good for you, play your PC games and don't get into the business of console gamers. I don't mind playing games with 'dated' graphics on consoles compared to PC's, since the eye candy satisfies me.
Says you and the hundred of other sony/x360 fanboys in this website. You all forget that all it takes is HD Nintendo games and it trumps all other games.
When I see comments like this I literally just feel sad when you consider Wii-U current generation for the hardware that hasn't been released.
And not only that those who call Wii-U next generation are the same ones who don't consider:
- High Capacity disk format
- Robust Online Capabilities
- New Controller input
- 720p/1080p games
- Modern GPU
- A generational leap from Wii
As worthy next gerneration compentents because it doesn't push the amount of pixels you want, yet are the first ones who claim when the console generation gets old that it is games that seperate the consoles from PC not graphics.
I know your not PC master race, because you would have stated that fact right from the get go and put down every single console below the might that is your gaming rig. You didn't you just put down the wiiU.
None of us know the specs and it would be foolish to think that MS and SONY will automatically put in more better hardware than ninty will. Stop speculation and wait till the end of the year and then wait till the other 2 come out, then rage all you want... Unless your a humble PC elitist..... Next generation has NOTHING to do with power of a platform. It has to do with the release of a new console altogether.

On topic, I think a "Duh" is in order. I watched this past E3, it was boring, no surprises and very little that screams new and exciting. Sony and Microsoft are biding time until next generation.
I mean Usher and Wonderbook? These two idiotic things would have never been at E3 had we had the console cycles we were used to.

Whether fanboys like yourself want to believe it, next gen starts this Fall. As for NextBox and PS4, Sony and MS are stretching it out as far as possible with the dated hardware of PS3/360 but seeing one in late 2013 wouldn't be surprising and all will be out by 2014. You must think Sony and MS are stupid if they will leave WiiU as the most powerful console for 2 years , while getting exclusives that look better... I like Sony and Nintendo. Giving WiiU two years gives it a 25 million user base advantage and means even if PS4 and Xbox8 are much more powerful, even though they won't be, developers will still go with WiiU as the developing console thus holding ps4 and NextBox ports back. You don't want the WiiU to have the upper hand do you?

Ea is another company that fails to utilize the potential of the ps3, especially with DICE with all that bs that they said with maxing out the ps3. When you compare the 360 and the ps3 version of battlefield 3, you can clearly see that there isn't much of difference of two versions and thats why i continue to question DICE ability to develop on the ps3. Trust me ps3 and xbox 360 are not almost identical in power, thats why you can clearly see that the ps3 exclusives blow away all of what the 360 has on their systems........ Its not even funny, Matter of fact Uncharted one which came out in 2007 looks better than all of the 360 exclusives and third party titles. That just shows the lack of ability of the third party developers that have failed to utilize the power of the ps3 and now they're complaining about next gen lol . Lets just face it , those games are not even on the same level as first party titles. I jus wish people on this forum stop moaning like bunch of idiots who want next gen so soon lol

wait if the ceo of one of the biggest game publishers thinks instead of knows, then to me, there will be no next gen consoles released by next year for sony and MS.

Those are just examples of games available on all platforms, though the more technically impressive versions are on pc.
There are many, many games that display the difference in tech between pc and the, let's face it, poor tech of the consoles.
