PlayStation Move Looking More and More Like a Flop

About a year ago, I wrote an article supporting the PlayStation Move, stating it was the perfect time to buy one. With a lot of games on the plate and the bundles lined up for the Move, it did seem like a perfect time. The Resistance 3 bundle with the sharpshooter was coming out, there was just a lot to look forward to and the technology seemed miles ahead of the Kinect. (Playstation Move, PS3)

If PlayStation move is a flop then I don't know what to consider wiimote and Kinect. I understand that those other control options sold well but offered little to nothing really for the core gamers. To each his own, if move had mass support like wiimote or Kinect then core gaming would suffer for actual gamers that supports the systems. Look at where Wii is now, no more software support with little sales. Kinect constantly has bad games released for it where the controls are bad and because of the focus on the device, support for proper core games for Xbox has waned

I hate blind fanboy response but I'm just using logic. I liked a few games for the Wii but after playing a bunch of games on the Wii I quickly grew tired of the waggling and imprecise gameplay where I would rather use the retro controller. I can't wait to play skyward sword with a proper controller with dual analog sticks.

Some people are looking forward to Xbox 720 which I am but I want Kinect to go away for a few years or at least not be the focus on the system. The ps move supports more games than Kinect but is considered more of a failure because ps move isn't the sole device which is able to be used in majority of the games. Only silly people would rather less control options for games.

The point is motion gaming in general is a flop, the Move is the best of the bunch, but doesn't live up to the hype.

It depends on how you look at it. From this perspective I would have to agree. Sony's perspective would be did it sell or not. I don't know the answer to that though.
