Media Create published the latest hardware sales from Japan.
Lol ps2 beats 360 2 weeks in a row . No fanboy stuff I own them all . It's just funny
The xbox is frowned upon in japan, I respect the japanese for this behavior because the PS2 is the greatest playstation console ever and it will take the PS4 to be able to surpass the PS2.
As much as many wont want to admit, RROD didn't do the brand's rep any good when it wasn't all that popular to begin with. Then there was the content mess with Vesperia.
perhaps their continued perseverance is more about honor (something very traditional) in standing behind their product. The early abandonment of the original is still something that can hurt a reputation more so than the hardware issue. At least with the hardware, they did make good on that.
I feel like the sales of about 1,000 PS2 units has been the usual for that console for a couple of years now. Crazy how that thing barely declined in at least the past two years.
Wow, Time Travellers sold almost equal om both handhelds! I hope more developers will make their games multiplatform on handhelds.
It would be messed up cause every Vita version of the game would make the 3DS version look like poop.
Exactly. That is why I want some 3rd party 3DS games went multiplatform with Vita. I would prefer to play them on Vita's bigger brighter and more contrast screen with two analog sticks.
lol PS2 sold circa 6.5 million units in 2011 alone!! The PS2 is a beast, with beastly long legs, anyone who doubts it is a fool. http://kotaku.com/5750636/t... http://vgsales.wikia.com/wi... Yes I know sources are ?!?!?.. but a 6m figure for 2011 is well reported as it took PS2 to beyond 150m units lifetime.
Assuming the PS3's sales mirror, even in part, that of its predecessor, there is no doubt that it will eventually sell more units than the 360 and even perhaps the Wii! Even on the handheld front the PSP is selling well for an 8 year old console Sony's consoles and thus their games both have long legs!
3DS XL sales are going to be MASSIVE.
