PlayStation Plus Update – Launch Week Discounts and More

Earlier this month, we delivered a big update to your PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection with the addition of great games like Gotham City Impostors, Pac-Man Championship Edition DX, and Renegade Ops. These three games continue to be free for Plus members, in addition to nine more free AAA games, like LittleBigPlanet 2, inFAMOUS 2, and Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One. That’s not all for this month, though! To round out July (and even getting a bit into August), we’ve got even more goodness for Plus members!

PS+ has taught me to never buy a game until it's on sale via PS+. You'll save a ton of money that way and typically only have to wait a few months to get the deal.

I have so many friends who haven't played it at all so I'm more than willing to sacrifice the mouse/keyboard for 15+ people playing it. Excited.

And for $15 why not. 10 maps I think, that's more content for the money than most DLC packs for a shooters entirety this day n age

i hated gta 4, one of the most overrated games ive played. I know they wanted to bring the feel of liberty city back but san andreas was just plain better and 4 just looked stripped down

If you have a chance, download Just Cause 2 on PC and download the BOLO 4.0 patch from justcause2mods.com. Seriously. You'll NEVER want to go back to Just Cause 2 without mods. It's just so addicting!

Also, a multi-player mod for JC2 is coming out soon. :)

I've heard a few people say similar things, but I just don't get how anyone could think that. GTA4 blows it out of the water. Sure the hook/parachute is cool and the world is very big, but other than that I would give everything else to GTA as the winner.

That's cause we are still in the month of July.

US put all the big games at the beginning of the month.
EU and beyond have spread theirs out.

Don't include Japan in 'beyond', because Japan gets nothing apart from a free PS1 classic that nobody has ever heard of.

The only decent freebie on JPN PSN+ in the last YEAR has been PlayMemories, which isn't even a game but a photo/video app.
