Dawnguard’s core story revolves around the return of a vampire lord known as Lord Harkon and the archaic clan under his control, the Volkihar. Lord Harkon has put plans into motion that would allow vampires to rule the earth by blocking out the sun with the power of an Elder Scroll. Isran, the leader of an order known as the Dawnguard opposes vampires and all the evil they bring to the world and catches wind of their new scheme. His aim is to band together a group of like-minded people who will help him stamp out the vampire menace once and for all. Without spoiling too much it is at this point that the player has to make a very important choice. 4/5
