IGN: "In a year full of sequels could this be just the ticket for gamers after a title without a numeral on the end?"
"In a year full of sequels could this be just the ticket for gamers after a title without a numeral on the end" I thought this was just True Crime 3, yet they had to change the franchises name ?
It's probably because Sqaure Enix didn't pay to use the True Crime name when they bought the cancelled project from Activision. Break the locks.
This game wasn't a sequel to begin with. It was called Black Lotus and was just a new game but Activision wanted it rebranded to True Crime 3 as to use the brand for more sales.
Then why didn't Enix name it Black Lotus?
Activision owns the name too. They had to come up with a new name that Square Enix could copy right which they did.
Gravity Rush is also great, and so is Dragon's Dogma... So if you want something without a number at the end there are two great ones! And they are not more shooters either!
I've got a feeling that Sleeping Dogs will be a pretty awesome game, can't wait for it to come out. Also, speaking of Hong Kong Phooey (god I feel old bringing this up) :
