Top 5 Mining Games

"After Minecraft took off, many different indie developers began to explore the new genre it had opened up, focused on gathering resources and building, or exploring through randomly generated worlds. However, not all of them ended up being knock-offs—here are the top five games of the genre, each with their own unique features that distinguish them from the rest." Explosion.com (3DS, King Arthur's Gold, Minecraft, Nintendo DS, PC, PS3, PSP, Spelunky, StarForge, Terraria, Wii, Xbox 360)

Terraria is awesome! Still haven't got round to unlocking hard mode, though. Can't beat that damn wall of flesh.

My PC can barely run the original Half Life, so I'll just stick to consoles lol. Wish I had a decent computer though :(

Where the hell is Castle Miner Z?

There's a nice game in flash on kongregate's site that is very entertaining, called Glean. Check it out.

Xbox has rekindled my love for Minecraft, but CastleMiner Z (80MS Points on XBLIG) represents the best value for money. That game is so addictive.

Hopefully, Mojang will eventually port the Xperia version across to the PS Vita and give us the opportunity to experience Minecraft PE the way it was meant to be played.
