How Quantic Dream Is Taking The Leap That Games Need To Evolve

It isn’t often that we see games starring seasoned actors on display. That’s not to say that it hasn’t happened, but it just isn’t very common outside of movie tie-ins. Of course the transition of star talent from television to movies has become extremely common, so it only makes sense that videogames would be the next logical step. Quantic Dream is taking that next step in an effort to help the game industry mature, and I think that's ultimately a good thing (Beyond: Two Souls, PS3, Quantic Dream, Tag Invalid)

Well I have only ever played Heavy Rain from them but it was an amazing experience. Quantic Dream is needed in the gaming industry, they offer experiences like none other and are masters at getting reactions from players emotions

I just like the ambition. Yeah, people can lambast the games for being full of QTE, but for some reason you feel more connected with the characters and story than you do in other games. I remember that scene in Heavy Rain in the apartment of that religious nut...

Some intense moments that I still think about.

The QTEs make the game even more intense because one missed button press can irreversibly change the course of the game.

Qauntic Dream games = more QTE(qick time events) than gameplay.
