No multiplayer beta for Assassin’s Creed III says Creative Director
According to Creative Director Alex Hutchinson, there will be no multiplayer beta for Assassin’s Creed III this year.

Perhaps. Will probably keep it internal and "friends and family" or something similar. Kinda crazy though, as they have a real close relationship with Sony to deliver the multiplayer betas exclusively to that platform
They dont need a beta. They had one for Brotherhood and Revelations so why have one for 3? Plus this is a numbered title so theres a much larger emphasis on the SP like AC2.
Because the Mp for Revelations left a lot to be desired, and the beta (believe it or not) has been used to test out changes to the MP in the past, as well as address balance issues.
If any of the AC MPs needs a beta, its this one. Annecy so far, have done little to fill the MP community with confidence.
exactly... Beta will allow ubisoft to refine the gameplay before launch and get more rating in sites like ign etc.... which now has to be refined using patches if fixes are needed.

Then again, Ghost Recon had a beta, and they still didn't fix anything (granted, they are still supporting it pretty well).
