The game industry saw 45% hardware and 29% software declines from last year as the NPD sales data bring even more summertime blues that even (LEGO) Batman couldn't save.

Full sales and comprehensive analysis of June 2012's numbers by Peter Skerritt. (3DS, Culture, Industry, Nintendo DS, PS Vita, PS3, Tag Invalid, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360)

that's because there's no one left to buy a ps3, 360, or...wii. until the next gen comes out (which should have been THIS year for everyone), things are just going to get worse and worse, year-over-year percentage-wise.

Am I the only that has more money during the Fall and Spring compared to summer? Thats probably why no one buys games during June- August. Or maybe its just that there aint shit to play except for the walking dead, quantum conundrum and summer of arcade lol
