Why There’s Nothing Wrong With Pokémon Black and White 2 Being on the DS

Kotaku's Richard Eisenbeis writes:"By far the most common complaint I've heard about Pokémon Black and White 2 is the fact that Black 2 and White 2 were released on last generation's Nintendo DS even though the Nintendo 3DS has been on the market since last year. Frankly, I find this a complaint with little to no merit. Here's why." (Nintendo DS, Pokemon Black/White 2)

It's still awesome they nintendo are still giving providing great support to the ds after the 3ds launch.

The first pokemon game on 3DS really needs its own generation to start from and shake things up again with regard to presentation and graphics. So imo it makes perfect sense for this to be on the DS, not to mention the ridiculous install base that is there and how successful the Pokemon franchise has been on the system. If any game can sell millions this late into the DS life cycle, it would be this.
