Mirror's Edge 2 'is on the list' - EA

A sequel to Mirror's Edge is "on the list" of things to do, EA Labels president Frank Gibeau has suggested, saying it's "really about how and when" to bring the series back.

"It's on the list. It's just about looking at what teams are available, who's got the right quality approach to it, and who understands it."

On the list huh... It SHOULD be a priority! Not just on a list... Make it happen! The first was so damn original, it had its flaws sure, but now that you know what they are EA, you can make the second one much better!

EXACTLY!!! I just hope they don't change too much about the game. TBH just some new levels and up the graphics a lil bit to cut down on the jaggies and I'll be happy. I just don't want the art style changed.

The first game was a breathe of fresh air. It attempted to do something different and it succeeded. It definitely deserves a sequel!

Mirror's Edge is one of my favourite games this gen...
Even just standing still on a rooftop and gazing out to the city skyline while that awesome ambient score hummed quietly in the background gave me more pleasure than most games in their entirety do these days. It has such an amazing atmosphere, and a huge amount of immersion.

I really crave a sequel.

I think when DICE are primarily done with Battlefield 3, they will start working on this. At least I hope so.
