Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono Hints At Darkstalkers

Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono is known for asking fans to hold up money as a method of showing support for a new Darkstalkers during Comic-Con panels. He would take a picture so he could show Capcom Japan there is demand for a new game in the franchise.

It's pathetic what Ono has been reduced to. Will someone please just offer him a new job and let him go wild.. Namco? Sony? Arcsys? Here is a developer who is clearly passionate about his work and does so much for the community yet is stuck at the worst major Japanese gaming company around.

Not too happy about it running on a modified SF X Tekken engine. Hopefully the style will be as unique as the original games.

And seriously, Capcom, fans have been asking for this for ages. Of all the things you've put your money into publishing, Darkstalkers is the least problemsome of them all.
