Mass Effect 3′s Extended Cut: A Thank You Letter To BioWare

While I can understand where all the negativity was coming from, I just hope this doesn't set a precedent where players will campaign to alter a game's ending just because they personally didn't like it.

It's a tough balance between pleasing the audience and taking the author's work for what it is.

What needs to change is game makers thinking that they can put out anything they want, in any state they want.

The real issues, but the way side missions are handled, that many conversations are non interactive, is that ME3 wasn't a "finished" game. The original ending was just the most obvious and telling sign.
