Shelby just wanted to trade in Resistance: Burning Skies at Best Buy. Why did they make it so difficult for him?
Resistance: Burning Skies was pitched on October 19, 2009 as Resistance: Homefront, 2.5 years before it was released on the PS Vita.
Game was a wasted opportunity on the Vita. Really disappointing release that stank of a rough rush job.
Crazy to think this dev team also failed with COD. I think that unproven team bit off more than what they could chew. In a parallel universe they could’ve been the next big thing by this point if they had only tried to be creative with these major game licenses.
If bend studio wasn't busy working on uncharted vita, they would probably have been the best studio to work on that project.
Best Buy officially ends its Gamers Club Program as of Feb. 28th, 2021. While the company had stopped selling the membership, it was still honoring the discount but that ends next month.
We needed this program now more Than ever. I’m not paying $70 for a lot of these games coming out now.
If you were one of the lucky ones to get a Nintendo Switch for the holidays, well, congratulations, you’re in for a treat. Now that you have the console, it’s time to pimp out your newly-minted device with some much-needed accessories, and right now, Best Buy has a bunch of options 50% off.
The moral of the story? When customer service offers you a $30 gift card, hold out. They'll offer you $50 in a few days.
I would never go through that much bullshit.
I'm not completely understanding this. You wanted to trade in this game and that gave this person a $30 gift card which is really good and then you wouldn't take it so they gave you a $50. Is the game even worth $50?
and this is why companies go belly up and our economy is so screwed up. Instead of getting to the root of the problem and fixing it lets just throw some money at it and of course more then what its valued and hope it goes away.
I hate how this phrase is overused by apologists on this site, but:
What a WHINY, ENTITLED, CRYBABY.
A database error causes him/her to get offered a free $30 giftcard, and s/he refuses it. S/He gets a $50 giftcard and then whines that it was "hidden" in the envelope.
My word. SHUT UP.
