Good guide. Follow it and one shouldn't have much trouble with Insanity. Even easier if you beat the game once on easy to import the ME3 save. That way you can upgrade all the weapons you and your squad uses to X.
Definitively right about Liara being great to have on insanity. I took Reave bonus power and had Liara toss out Singularities. Biotic Explosions do some very impressive damage. Tali and her shield drain, sabotage, and full upgraded Geth Plasma Shotgun does wonders too.
