The Amazing Spider-Man Review | PixelJumpers

"All said, The Amazing Spider-Man is probably the best Spidey game to date, though I’m not sure if I can say it has the same impact as 2004′s Spider-Man 2. The simplified web-swinging and derivative combat are disappointing, but at the end of the day make it fun to be Spider-Man. Plus, the vast amount of extras in the form of character bios, full comic books, concept art, and multiple costumes all compel more playtime after completing the roughly 6-8 hour story. Despite its similarities to the recent Batman titles, The Amazing Spider-Man plays about as well as you would expect a Spider-Man variation of Arkham City to, which is to say, pretty good. The Amazing Spider-Man isn’t spectacular, nor is it sensational, but it gets the job done." Jake Weston, Associate Editor
