Splinter Cell: Blacklist - A blend of old and new (Hooked Gamers)

Hooked Gamers writes: "Sure, there may be a few reasonable trepidations on the part of fans concerning Blacklist. A new developer, and the replacement of a beloved voice actor could cause alarm, but Ubisoft looks like it will be able to appease both long-time fans of the series and those brought in by Conviction. With new features like Killing in Motion, along with returning staples like Sticky Shockers, moving bodies, and most importantly the Spies vs. Mercenaries multiplayer mode, Fall 2013 cannot come soon enough."

Yup. While conviction IS a fun game it shouldn't have been called splinter cell but just conviction. You don't kill a series like that. They pretty much just want the COD crowds money. I most certainly am not buying blacklist. If Ironside ain't on board neither am I :/

Ironside isn't on board because he asked for too much money and cheap Ubisoft was used to paying its videogame voice actors pennies, lets be honest they're all underpaid compared to what so many untalented movie people get. Shame on you Ubisoft, you don't replace David Hayter as Solid Snake, they just don't get it that voices are what make the characters, if games are going to be treated seriously they need to realize this and take it seriously. This is just crap quite frankly, all shoot em up mindless garbage that noone wants, akin to the Call of Duty crowds who need a mindless distraction where there is little to no actual skill involved.

and how long has it been since ubisoft commented on this subject stating that they had 5 minutes to show that level and they went with an action approach on that play through just to show the game.

Why do people say COD crowd. That's a FPS and a lame comparison. If anything is stealth action like MGS. While I miss the old stuff, it still looks amazing in action.
