Man, Halo 4's lighting looks awesome. I especially can't wait to see all of the eerie pillars stretching from the heavens of Requiem in the campaign.

Yea, I cannot wait to see what they look like up close. It sucks that we can't use them in multiplayer now that 343 made them look more badass then ever haha.

Halo 4 looks better obviously but I'd have to see it in motion; Reach didn't look as good as those screen shots in motion due to a terrible motion blur implementation that look more like ghosting than blur.

Yeah that was my biggest issue with Reach, the blur actually hurt my eyes after a while, other than that it looked pretty nice, but Halo 4 is looking very nice indeed.

The strange ghosting/blur you describe is due to Bungie's Temporal Anti-Aliasing implementation. Halo 4 will be using a post process AA(which is said to be FXAA), so the ghosting won't be an issue this time around.
