There’s not a lot else that can really be said about Curling Super Championship. If, for some bizarre reason, you’re a fan of the sport, then you’ll probably really enjoy this game. It’s well-made, with the game’s physics and clever use of the stylus being the highlight. While the graphical presentation is at odds with the gameplay, it doesn’t look terrible, especially when you factor into account that this is a downloadable title on a Nintendo system.
But this feels like it should be a part of a bigger game; it’s as if it has been dissected from some winter sports compilation. Moreover, it’s hard to justify its £5 price point when the game is so limited. By comparison, £5 on the Apple App Store would bag you N.O.V.A. 3 or The Amazing Spider-Man. And when you factor in how repetitive this game is, Curling Super Championship just isn’t a stand-out title that merits your hard-earned cash.
