After appearing in GTA V trailer GamesCom 2012 (See end of article), something even large economies came to rejoice. Found in the antho74 GTAforums, the profile of Gerald Bauser (Project Manager of Programming at Gamescom) on LinkedIn brings the games that appeared in the event (This is what is meant).

Yes, Rockstar Games will be at Gamescom 2012, and it will bring two games, one of Grand Theft Auto V. You Should Not Be Believing is not it? Apparently the wait is ending, and in August we FINALLY, something related to BIG Anticipated Grand Theft Auto V.

Don't bother reading the article, your brain will explode, but do watch the Gamescom 2012 trailer. At about the 2 minute mark footage of the GTA V trailer 1 is shown (dude running from helicopter), check it out.

Call me silly, but that alone pretty much does it for me in confirming GTA V for Gamescom this year. Rejoice! :D

Hope so. I'm still clinging to the slim chance that Rockstar could go into full hype mode soon and release it this year. Late October is still four months away, and I would have thought they'd want the game out by then, so they could release episodes earlier next year rather than compete with all the next-gen stuff next fall.
