Sony Reveal New PlayStation Vita Dual Analog Trailer

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has revealed a brand new trailer for the PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) console, featuring the recently released Resistance: Burning Skies as its lead title. However, the videogame used to showcase the features isn’t what’s important in this new trailer, it’s that the PS Vita console can do what the Nintendo 3DS can’t.

They're not mocking anyone. they're just promoting the advantages of having two analogue sticks and clearly this journalist had a hissy fit

Also, there's nothing really wrong with advertising a handheld with two analogs. I wouldn't complain at all if Nintendo advertised their circle pad pro...

Well, yeah. There has been a lot of talk about how Sony doesn't advertise many things right. PSV having dual analogs is one of the points many people have said Sony should focus on in their ads, now they're finally doing it.

I think everyone can just look at the system and tell it has 2 sticks Sony.......advertise something else about the Vita, something typical consumers wouldn't know by just looking at the system.

Advertising dual-sticks isn't going to get it flying off shelves. (Though I'll personally be buying one once a price-drop hits.)

Some unique games to advertise wouldn't hurt either. I still firmly believe that ports of PS3 games are seriously not going to cut it for the Vita to become a big success.
