It's just so...tempting, but I've never been disappointed with any purchases so far.
Last summer I bought the THQ bundle that included Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes O.F, Homefront, Metro 2033, MX vs ATV Reflex, Red Faction, Red Faction II, Red Faction Guerrilla, Red Faction Armageddon, all 3 STALKER games, Saints Row II, Titan Quest, 3 of the Warhamer 40,000 games and last but not least, Darksiders...
...all for a total of about $50! I had wanted to play most of the games in the bundle, so I bought it and yeah, every penny was well spent that day. I remember seeing Red Faction Armageddon (PS3/360) in BestBuy going for $59.99, right after buying the THQ bundle on Steam.
Your not alone I haven't either. But I'm looking to change that with the summer sale. I just hope my wallet forgives me for the aduse I'm about to cause it.
i got the stalker games the last time they were cheap, began SoC it's fairly good. Not sure if i'll ply right through though, too many other games haha
Hope Skyrim gets a good sale. Platinum'd it on ps3 and now I found out that you can convert your ps3 save to a pc save, so I can just pick up from where I left my ps3 game.
The mods look pretty good, and a version that runs much faster is very enticing.
If you didn't want to wait you can pick up a Steam code for the Darkness 2 via Amazon (currently $12.49). Not a bad price, not sure what kinda' deal Steam might offer direct though (not sure if the same/similar is available through Amazon UK either).
@Andree1991: Well some games are more story-based than "SHOOT EVERYONE". The Darkness was the one of the most depressing games i've ever played. I beat it so many times its ridiculous. I think you should give it another chance and go into it with an open mind and not "I wanna tear people in half with demon arms". I promise you'll like it.
@Spam-fritter-123: I completely agree lol. But i still dont regret the 50 bucks i spent on it. It wasn't as good as the first but it still had a great story and it was really fun. >.> It seems like they maybe tried to appeal to Andree1991 more with the Darkness 2, with all the action set-pieces and explosions. lol still good though
yeah thats a preview theres like only 5 games for each day listed. There is about 10 games per day massively discounted and every major release except recent releases gets a around 25% discount too.
This was like $7.49 I think (or it might have been $15), but it contained JC2 as well as a few other great games worth having - all but one of which was activatable on steam (Tomb Raider Underworld was not). Not quite $5 for JC2, but not far off all things considered.
These are just the indie bundles, dude! Individual titles aren't listed... and I wouldn't necessarily call Kingdoms an indie title.
I'm especially interested in the one with Ticket to Ride and SpaceChem. One's a digital version of a famous board game. The other's a video game that's heavily inspired by complex board games. I don't have either.
Looks like I will be buying Total War 2, Sins of Solar empire, Dead island, and maybe Batman as well as Anno 2070. Maybe some others as well. Last summer I bought up so many games on Steam. I went to the store and couldn't find much of anything new that I didn't own. I was like wow I bought this, this, and this for $20 bucks. haha
You can get a Steam copy or a standalone copy and all the money goes to the devs. Plus you get a map, which is really useful for DayZ. I bought it the other day, epic game: both DayZ and vanilla Arma II.
Steams sales are like a drug addiction for me i cant help myself. i have already got lots of thier deals (deus ex bundle, alien vs predator £1.50, warhammer space marine £5, L.A noire complete £7) i keep saying to myself thats it now dont get any more then they come out with this.
They don't answer to shareholders so they can take my money!
Agreed!

I laughed, turned around and walked away.
Which means loads of non bundles games also going dirt cheap!
I'm hoping to pick up HL1/HL2 + all the episodes for them, yes i know i feel dirty having not played them yet
i also recommend getting the STALKER series when they go on sale. best RPG horror i have ever played.
i am hoping for DR:off the record.

This is just the bundles, plenty of non bundle games will go on sale and probably even more bundles than already stated
but yeh if i see darkness ill grab it cheap.

Had no idea there was a multiplayer mod in development for JC2. The ingenuity of mod communities never ceases to amaze me.
