Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Pushed Back into October Along With a Price Drop

Originally scheduled to release on August 24th, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has now been delayed until October 9th. City Interactive gave no reason for the delay, but now the game is in the midst of the prime time for game buying this year as its release date places it right in between Resident Evil 6 and Dishonored. (PC, PS3, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, Xbox 360)

If this game comes out within a month or 2 of RE6, Dishonoured, Call of Duty, Halo 4, Assassin's Creed 3, Far Cry 3 and the next Medal of Honor game, it's going to get lost in the shuffle. They should delay it to 2013 like the smarter people creating Bioshock Infinite did, and continue working on the game to make it perfect. Lets just say the first game was a glitch filled mess, and I can only suspect that's why they're releasing this game later and dropping the price. It's unfortunate as I had high hopes they would learn from their mistakes from the first one... oh well.

I can see your point with this delay. being that odt is the start of the holiday new releases. BUT, If your a fan of the 1st game then you won't mind the wait. If this delay will help improve the game ,then I'm all for it.

Ofcourse I thought the same thing about ghost recon FS only to end up with a worthless game after years of delays!

lol a fan of the first game? Did you play the first game? It was a glitch filled mess. There are no fans of the first game, it didn't sell anything, which is why they ported it to the PS3 for cheap to try and recoup some of their costs, and it still didn't sell anything.

To anyone who doesn't understand simple economics - I have nothing for you. No explanation will get facts through your thick heads.
