Mass Effect 3′s Ending DLC Restores Some Fans’ Trust

The negative fan response to Mass Effect 3′s ending was truly a remarkable thing, giving rise to community action of all kinds. Fans wrote alternate endings, made YouTube videos and started comic strips and creative endeavors that have become extremely popular in the wake of the conclusion of BioWare’s flagship series. Now, after the EC DLC, it's time to ask the best known members of the Retake movement for their opinions on Mass Effect and BioWare. (BioWare, Culture, EA, Industry, Mass Effect 3, Mass Effect 4, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

In what way do you restore trust by fixing a horrible ending to be sub-par? In what way do you restore trust by putting out an unfinished product, and then fixing it 3 months later, when everyone bitched about it like crazy. You think they would have fixed the ending if it were up to them? lol of course not. And guess what, the ending still makes no sense in terms of the things Shepard has accomplished in this trilogy as opposed to the choices he has in the final 10 minutes of the game. Bioware's last 3 products have been rushed and disappointing. My trust with Bioware will never be restored so long as EA is their publisher.

PS. The entire main story arch was weak to begin with, the ending was just a icing on the poop cake that ruined it all. Bioware is dead IMO. EA is at it again with their kill streak of good developers, Well done!

Heh....they're bleeding subscribers from their crap MMO. They intentionally crippled Mass Effect. They destroyed Dragon Age. Bioware has been on a slide for the last 3 years.

How can fans trust them when they are a part of the devil known as EA?

This series has been going down hill since EA bought Bioware, the first game was great, but the mass market FPS gamers didn't like the combat, customisation or exploration,so to appease them they took these features out,but made the combat better, although to me it was fine before, then with Kasumi and Zaeed they put in auto dialogue which annoyed the hell out of me especially with Kasumi as I wanted to get to know her, then comes the third game which is watered right down, now in side quests you no longer visit planets you just fire a probe at them and hey presto you've just rescued someone, how lazy is that? then you get less dialogue option, loads of auto dialogue,a broken journal tacky sexual come ons and innuendoes' that surprise you and are hard to avoid and the most stupid ending ever even with the extended cut,Bioware must think we are real idiots, the only time they will listen and learn is when it affects them financially so I won't be buying anything more from them and I suggest others follow suit.
