1UP - Metal Gear Solid 2 and the Generation that Never Was

1UP - The broken promises of gaming's most ambitious demo. (Metal gear solid 2, PS2)

The Tanker part was the best part of the game. The rest of the game was meh. Kojima dropped the ball on that one, but MGS3 more than made up for it.

'The broken promises of gaming's most ambitious demo.'.

Which are??

The author briefly moans (predictably) about the main character being Raiden, but that's about it.

Also, let's face it, it's not really a demo, but a fully functional chapter of the game in its entirety.

Ultimately, the game is exactly the same whether you are playing as Snake or Raiden. Get over it.

Lame article, and over ten years too late.
