How the Halo franchise is making gamers go blind

It's not the stunning graphics or explosion plumes. It's the text. Gamertell takes a tape measure to all three games in one of the world's biggest videogame franchises to see just how much more squinting gamers do now than in 2001.

The trend toward smaller on-screen text in games may be an indication that developers expect all gamers to own expensive, high definition widescreen TVs. Instead, many gamers are likely enduring eye strain and headaches playing new games on old TVs.

Of course he can't resist and not only that he is the first to post, so he is waiting for this news to come up so he can jump on it.

Makes you wonder if this guy even plays games? He spends all his time here trying to tell everyone how bad the console that is kicking the crap out of the PS3 is and failing at it.

I quite liked Halo 1, it was great... didnt play a lot of Halo 2... and I planned on getting Halo 3 for the PC, not so sure after I played it a little didnt like it... still thinking about it.

Splinter Cell is just bad. It sucks.
