is this the one that when you press L3/L2 or whatever you, transformed/super saiyan?? (that doesn't have multiple version of a single character) i remember playing it on ps2.

No. I think that was Tenkaichi. This one has all the transformations when you select one character.

Why would they make a Collection? Budokai 2 includes everything 1 has, and Budokai 3 Tankaichi contains everything Budokai 2 has, doesn't HD remaking all 3 games kind redundant? a good Budokai 3 HD remake is good enough

that was pretty stupid (of them to do). I really wished it was budokai 3 and budokai tenkaichi 3...
If not both (for whatever reason... legal and whatnot), I would've preferred budokai 3 HD, new animations, trophies, and online play... Can somebody do a comparison video though? I kinda hate when the "hd" version looks just like the "original"... Hopefully 'they' put budokai 3 in the playstation 2 classics; for I'd be content with that... especially if there won't be online play etc

No Badokai 2? It was my fav., I never played Budokai 3, but I hope it was similar to 2?

As I remember 2 was like a chess board as you go through the campaign. 3 had a world to explore.

Budokai 2's campaign was more like a board game. Budokai 3 is open world, but you can only interact with predetermined places.

As far as combat goes, Budokai 2 and 3 are pretty much the same, except Budokai 3 plays better, has more moves and options, and has a lot more characters (minus the fake fusions).

Oh, thanks guys!

I was more interested in knowing about the combat vs the campaign.
If the combat is similar, i'll be a happy DBZ fighta :D

I'm interested, but that trailer music was terrible.

Yeah it's kinda of dumb of them to not include to I didn't get to play 3 only 1 and 2. And i loved 2 it better be some sort of downloadable version like what Insomniac did for Ratchet and Clank Deadlocked
