i just want a dbz open world rpg, kinda like they had on the gameboy advance...using todays tech. the fighting games were okay...but an attempt at a open world dbz rpg on hd consoles would be 1000 times more epic. yall can buy whatever..they arnt getting my money until i see an rpg.
Why? This is one of the few good things they've decided to do with the DBZ license. Stop making crappy sequels and deliver to us in HD what made the series popular in the first place.
A new studio needs to take over the license after this. It's time for some change.
You're not taking into consideration that some people are without their old systems these days. I have no room for a PS2 in my entertainment center, and I can't play any PS2 games because my PS3 isn't backwards compatible.
HD remakes give you the ability to play those older games in HD without having to lug out an older system.
$40 isn't the end of the world if you're an adult with a job. lol
I'm going to play SO much Budokai 1 & 3. SOOO much. And I KNOW this collection will be better than that Ultimate Tenkaichi nonsense because I've actually played these before.
I hope it has Shin Budokai - Another Road included, I've always wanted to experience that story and what better way than through an HD collection. It was a PSP game though, so probably not.
DBZ Budokai3 was and is still the greatest dbz game ever! All other dbz games just can't compare except maybe tenkaichi 1,2.3 depending on your view. An hd remake of budokai3 would be so awesome that I might even forgive them for all the dbz dissapoints this gen...

I SOOOOOOOO hope that those are the two in the collection. Whereas b3 offers a more close combat intense fighting experience, t3 offers a more authentic dbz experience with the free flight and whatnot... They have their differences, but YES; they're a tie. However, if I had to choose a winner, I would have to give it to t3.
With that being said, STOP TRYING TO MAKE THE GAMES LOOK LIKE THE CARTOON/ANIME!!! This has already been executed. Go for photo-realistic graphics... In fact, I don't even want another dbz game(after this collection of hopefully b3 and t3), I want a dbz clone...
They stopped trying to make the games look like the anime with all the more recent games.
Which is a pretty goddamn stupid move. One of the biggest reasons for DB's popularity is, you know, Toriyama art. Remove that, and what's the ****ing point any more?
Anyway, I'm hoping this collection, if indeed that's what this is, is a compilation of -all- the budokai games. If it were JUST the 3D fighters or JUST the 2D fighters it wouldn't be worth it IMHO.
Though I'd still rather get a PS3 port of that more recent (awesome) arcade game.
