SMH i am honestly baffled by this. I mean all they really did was include achievements, and cloud saves. LOL I think SE is just trolling us now.

Because it will make money. If you look at it from a business poin t of view in Square's position this is just easy money. REALY easy money. Plus they're going to try to squeeze all of the money out of the original before they remake it.

Thw PC version was also the worst with..modifying some things. The songs sucked compared to the console version, and I don't even know why. They sounded alot worse though

Apologies, that was FF8. Not FF7. It used Midi sound files instead of Mp3 for some unjust reason. Which you would have to replace with the P1's Mp3 if you wanted it to sound as good as originally meant to.

I heard we weren't gonna get a steam release for this and while id love to get a version of this that works on windows 7. Guess only time will tell

Just realized Uncharted 3 looks better than these CGI screens from the PS1 days. I love how they totally avoided showing real gameplay.

Only the character models. FF8 for example, it's Cg still destroys Uncharted.

I think we should all buy a buster sword roll up to SE HQ hold them ransom for a few years and force them to remake it properly and when we have what we want kill the lot of em.

Not cutscene images, they were the images they used during disc changes. Still stupid though, because these images have been around since 1997.

Maybe its a preparation to remake FF7 but they wanted the pc user to officially taste FF7 before the remake on 2078
