EA Sports still struggling with server issues as gamers locked out of FIFA 12

More downtime this week for the EA Sport's servers. EA says it is currently investigating the issue.

The story is too old to be commented.

Knowing EA it'll probably never get fixed, they'll keep saying 'soon', then Release Fifa 13 and close the servers for 12 down without ever fixing the problem.

EA servers can, and usually do, ruin any good game.

People complain about cod being the same s*** every year but look at fifa its just updated rosters and "new engine"

I'd have to agree with most sports games being a rip off. I'd prefer a 2 year release gap with a 2 year update.

So football/mlb/soccer released new games in 2012, a roster update in 2013, a new game in 2014.

Do you even know anything about Fifa 2012? Same thing every year just with updated rosters? Really?

This game has received nothing but the highest critical praise with many applauding EA for not resting on their laurels and taking a chance with all the huge gameplay changes this year. Eurogamer rightly heralded it as a welcome step forward in the series.

It was one of the few games of last year to earn a metacritic score above 90 and has been called "a landmark sports game," as well as the "greatest football game ever seen", "A remarkable achievement", "the definitive soccer simulation", etc...etc.

"FIFA 12 has not only improved upon FIFA 11, this episode is perhaps the one that takes the most risks, and the result is excellent. This redesigned gameplay, the revamped defense and the huge learning curve it offers makes for an impressive FIFA 12 that soccer fans will love."

I'm not sure what game you played, but it doesn't seem to be the same game the rest of the world is playing.

EA + Servers don't work together in a sentence.
