Funcom CEO resigns day before The Secret World launches

Funcom CEO Trond Arne Aas has resigned his post at the publisher. The resignation has some odd timing, as the publisher's heavily hyped occult MMO, The Secret World, launches tomorrow. (Dev, Industry, PC, The Secret World)

Guy does not believe in captain sinking with the ship. This game will be the next ABP and its sad becuase I really wanted this guys to succeed and always sad to see developer loose jobs.

Yeah, it is a bad sign. Even if he was offered some amazing job, ether u would mention it or there would be a time stipulation regarding the game being worked on. Also, even if he hates it, leaving is still strange unless there was a blowout or a contract dispute. We will find out soon enough.

That never gives a good sign..

However, if you're a reddit user you'll know a lot of people are playing this and having fun with it(no pun intended)
