What does Sony's Gaikai buy mean for PS4?

It means PS4 will be a cloud gaming console. Why sell the console at a loss when you can simply re-use the same hardware for multiple owners over the course of 5~10 years?

It means options. If you have the bandwith to support it you should in thoery be able to pay a fee and have your games streamed to you therefore not clouding up your harddrive space with old games from PS1,PS2,PS3.

Options is a consumers best friend.

I believe it will simply be another option on the next console, and possibly on their tv's and Vita as well. I would use it but I still like my physical format.
