Weekly CE3 Gallery [June 24th - 30th]; How Minecraft, Bioshock and Aliens would look in CryEngine 3

DSOGaming writes: "As we’ve stated in the past, CryEngine 3 has a lot of potential, and today’s screenshots from modders Puppy, modsuki, Nevil112, rGOt, rockerman, iSqueezee, neo83_gr, Japith, JustNameless, USSR_GRAND, chicken, PARAVACH, ReVan1199, scotthomer, and Spitfire showcase the visuals that can be achieved with it. Moreover, you can get a glimpse on how Minecraft, Bioshock and Aliens would look in Crytek’s next-generation engine. Enjoy!" (Aliens, BioShock, Cryengine 3, Crysis 2, Minecraft, PC)

I'm completely in awe of what this engine can accomplish this gen. On the PC, it's virtually standard for any developer who puts effort into their game. Once consoles make the jump, I can only imagine what the possibility for both platforms can be.

Yeap. Not only that, but MaLDo has also proved how Crysis 2 would be if the PC was the primary platform. Generally speaking, CryEngine 3 has a lot of juice that has not been exploited yet, so I'm really curious to see what devs will do in next-gen era with it
